Human papillomavirus (HPV) infection

The program provides papillomavirus vaccination for women and men aged 13 to 45 inclusive.

The vaccine reduces the risk of developing cervical cancer by 90%, the cost of which is fully covered by state funding.

Immunization is available to:

• Citizens of Georgia, persons permanently residing in Georgia, and the population living in occupied territories;
• Persons under 18 years of age who are legally present on the territory of Georgia for more than 3 months and are subject to routine vaccination according to the National Immunization Calendar.
