Transfusiology

The Evex network includes a 24-hour clinical transfusiology service where physicians - transfusiologists - provide:

  • sufficient supply of safe blood components;
  • supply of blood components required by blood banks in compliance with appropriate temperature regimes (control, monitoring is carried out);
  • classification of blood components according to groups and their storage (control, monitoring of the refrigerator and temperature);
  • reserves of blood components for emergency cases;
  • clinical examination;
  • Recipient and donor blood group definition by means of monoclonal reagents Anti-A, Anti-B, Anti-AB;
  • definition of blood rhesus factor for recipient and donor by means of monoclonal reagent Anti-D;
  • recipient and donor blood cross-matching by manual methods;
  • transfusion of blood components according to protocols.
