Transfusiology
The Evex network includes a 24-hour clinical transfusiology service where physicians - transfusiologists - provide:
- sufficient supply of safe blood components;
- supply of blood components required by blood banks in compliance with appropriate temperature regimes (control, monitoring is carried out);
- classification of blood components according to groups and their storage (control, monitoring of the refrigerator and temperature);
- reserves of blood components for emergency cases;
- clinical examination;
- Recipient and donor blood group definition by means of monoclonal reagents Anti-A, Anti-B, Anti-AB;
- definition of blood rhesus factor for recipient and donor by means of monoclonal reagent Anti-D;
- recipient and donor blood cross-matching by manual methods;
- transfusion of blood components according to protocols.
